CREATE A 15 MINUTE CLASS TO COVER ONE OF THE THREE AIMS ABOVE...
Method:
1. You will be put in a group of three and allocated one PRIMARY activity to research and present on.
2. You will need to prepare;
a. a short presentation (using powerpoint/prezi/keynote) to be made to the two other members of your group
b. a task from them to complete...for example a crossword / word search etc
c. a sheet of A4 that summerises up the 10-15 key points about your primary activity.
3. There will be ONE class put aside for you to work with the other members of your group to present your information, exchange summerise/tasks and ask questions.
4. You will complete a short evaluation of the project.
5. At the end of the section on primary activities there will be a short test on the FIVE primary activities studied (water, oil, peat, fishing and farming).
** USE DIAGRAMS, BRING IN A LAPTOP / IPAD FOR SHORT VIDEO CLIPS, CREATE POWERPOINT/PREZI BE IMAGINATIVE! **
Timescale:
Lesson 1...introduction to task, allocation of groups and key dates. Read through material. Highlight key words / examples
Homework 1...Work on preparation of the presentation...combine images / basic key points.
Homework 2...Work on the supplementary materials for distribution to others in the group
